Certified Payroll Solution (CPS) simplifies the lives of Union and non-Union contractors who perform work on prevailing wage jobs by automating the grueling process of manually completing prevailing wage Certified Payroll Reports, Statements of Compliance, “No Work Performed” Payrolls, EEOC/Minority Workforce Utilization and Union and/or Bona fide plan Benefits Reports following mandates established by the Federal Davis-Bacon Act and/or State Prevailing Wage Laws.

QuickBooks continues to provide your normal accounting and job costing functions plus provides the framework for holding information relating to your customers, the jobs that you are currently working on, the number of hours spent each day on each job by each employee, payroll information, and a means to accurately track and record company contributions such as union/prevailing wage fringe benefits.

Certified Payroll Solution will then read or import information from your QuickBooks timesheets, customer: job list, employee records, and certain paycheck information as well as provide the ability to hold other specific project information required to meet your states prevailing wage reporting laws. The additional information that QuickBooks cannot track is held in linked records within CPS. Information from both programs is then merged together to print* the final reports; ready for signature and mailing.

While the most common certified payroll-reporting format used is the United States Department of Labor's Form WH-347 - Payroll Certification and Form WH-348 - Statement of Compliance; many states have their own Prevailing Wage Laws and require the use of their own specialized form, which has been derived from these standard forms. Certified Payroll Solution is compatible with the filing requirements of all 50 states.

In addition to meeting Federal and state specific “paper” filing requirements, CPS is the only QuickBooks integrated application that currently supports the electronic submission of certified payroll reports and provides compatibility with LCPtracker Labor Compliance Software, TRS Consultants Inc., Labor Compliance Software, Elation Systems Labor Compliance, and a Labor Compliance program developed by Sandia National Laboratory.
